This policy applies to visits and orders from private customers (B2C) on store.dampfrein.ch. We will update the text in the event of technical or legal changes.
- Server logs: IP address, date, time, requested URL, referrer, browser, operating system (purpose: operation, security, error analysis).
- Contact: Name, e-mail, telephone number, content of your request (purpose: communication and support).
- Order/account: Title, name, address, e-mail, telephone number, delivery and billing address, order and returns data (purpose: contract, delivery, customer account, service).
- Payment: we receive status information on payment. Our payment providers collect card data directly.
- Newsletter (optional): Email and interactions (purpose: sending and evaluation with consent).
Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) and - for access from the EEA - the GDPR. We process data to fulfill the contract, for consent or on the basis of legitimate interest (operation, security, improvement).
We use cookies for function, shopping cart and login. We only use statistics/marketing cookies with your consent in the cookie banner. You can delete or block cookies in the browser; the store may then be restricted.
If you agree, we use Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA). Among other things, page views, interactions, device/browser data are recorded; IP addresses are shortened. Legal basis: Your consent. Revocation at any time in the cookie banner.

Payment providers (e.g. TWINT, PostFinance, PayPal, Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Sofort) process your payment data under their own responsibility. Their data protection notices apply.
For delivery, we transmit your delivery address and contact details to transport service providers.
We use hosting and IT service providers to operate, maintain and secure the store. These process data on our behalf (order processing).
We only pass on data if it is necessary for the purpose, if you have given your consent or if the law requires it. For services in countries without an adequate level of data protection, we rely on suitable guarantees (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses).
- Contract and booking data: statutory retention, usually 10 years.
- Contact inquiries: until processing is complete.
- Analysis data/cookies: in accordance with the tool or browser settings.
- Account data: until the customer account is deleted.

We protect your data with technical and organizational measures. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS). You protect your access data and choose a secure password.
